UW No.3 for Peace Corps volunteers
The Peace Corps announced that the 澳彩网 is again No. 3 on a list of top volunteer-producing institutions over the past two decades. The UW has graduated more than 2,300 students who have gone on to service opportunities abroad as volunteers.
2024 Commencement speaker announced
Daniel James Brown, the author of 鈥淏oys in the Boat,鈥 the story of the 1936 澳彩网 men鈥檚 rowing team, will deliver the 2024 Commencement address for the 149th ceremony, which takes place June 8 at Husky Stadium.
Three UW students named 2024 Goldwater Scholars
This year鈥檚 UW Goldwater Scholars are Dania Ahmed, Annabella Li and Masa Nakura-Fan. Their undergraduate research projects with faculty cover a range of topics such as the mechanisms underlying heart disease, designing, producing and testing novel protein-based systems, and computational fabrication and artificial intelligence.
